Using the upcoming Documents To Go software from DataViz, BlackBerry users will be able to create Microsoft Office documents inside their BlackBerry mobile phone.

DataViz supports Word .doc, Excel .xls spreadsheets and PowerPoint ppt presentations. No support for Visio vsd or Microsoft Project files. Support for Microsoft Outlook is in-built at the moment.

The current PDF Viewer for BlackBerry renders PDF as text files but with DataViz, you can view PDF inside BlackBerry just like the desktop Adobe Reader.

Microsoft Office will be available for BlackBerry Pearl 8100, BlackBerry Curve 8300 and BlackBerry 8800 with full Office 2007 file support for Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The existing Windows Mobile version of Documents To Go software lets you view, edit and create Microsoft Office 2007 documents.
