If you are looking to buy Apple iPad in India, here’s some discouraging news. Apple will start selling the iPad in Apple stores starting April 3 but the tablet won’t be available in India during that time.
Customers in US can pre-order the iPad from March 12 while the device will go for sale in US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK sometime in April.
iPad will be available in Wi-Fi models for a suggested retail price of $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB, $699 for 64GB. The Wi-Fi + 3G models will be available in late April for a suggested retail price of $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB and $829 for 64GB.
Apple says that iPad will ship in additional countries later this year. The price of the iPad outside US will be announced in April.
