Reliance Industries is planning to rollout out a nationwide optical fibre network measuring upto 7000 kilometre at a cost of around Rs.800 crore. Through this network, Mukesh Ambani wants to connect its refineries, pipeline network, retail outlets, petrol pumps and logistics biz.

India’s largest automotive company, Tata Motors may divest its stake in its well performing divisions into separate subsidiaries to derive business synergies and unlock shareholder value through IPO. Tata Motors has 30 subsidiaries in India and abroad, out of which 21 are profit making.
