When browsing web pages in Firefox, it often happens that the site you’re trying to access doesn’t load in one go.
May be the web server is down momentarily or there was too much load or maybe your own Internet connection dropped. Whatever be the case, such issues are often temporary and get resolved as soon you press F5 to reload the same web page.
If you work with too many browser tabs, a better alternative to F5 could be Try Again. This is a Firefox add-in that will continuously try connecting to web pages that didn’t open successfully in the first instance.
TryAgain v 3.2 - Thinks of this as robot pressing F5 every 5 or 10 seconds.
And if the web server fails to respond even after several tries, you can always see a copy through Google Cache or the WayBack Archive.

Smart Tip : ) Great
Opera has this feature (inbuilt) amongst TONS of other features, and still is lighter and faster than FF could ever imagine to be.
In Opera, you just right-click–>Reload Every –> and then select the timespan to reload the page or just enter a custom time span. No need to download any extension and be concered with security issues and efficiency.
As I have said earlier, FIREFOX is just a HYPEBOX.
I use Opera for my normal browsing , and it has increased my online productivity by many folds (I used to surf on FF). I use FF when I need those extensions (rarely).
Ronny - This is not about reloading pages after a given time period.
‘Try Again’ will try connecting to websites that didn’t load right at the first place.
Ya it happens also to me.I think it may be a bug in Firefox 3.
@shitu FF bug? did u read the post? It’s an add-on, dude…
@ ronny opera sucks, so do u.
I am not able to open websites from blogspot in all the 3 web browsers(IE, Mozilla, Opera). Can anyone suggest what would be the problem and how to resolve it.

#3 Amit, I guess Ronny is right. Reloading is the same as reconnecting. When a page reloads, it tries to ‘Reconnect’ to the server and get the latest version of the page. It’s just how you use the feature that matters.
#5 rahulmax, I strongly disagree. Opera is a great browser in its own right. The only problem with Opera is that it is not OpenSource (and thus infact, more secure). Other than that, it can beat FireFox anytime.
Hogan - That “reload” feature of Opera is similar to the refresh meta tag where pages “reload” automatically after a set period. Reload is not the same as reconnect.
@rahulmax ,hey dude don’t u read my comment, i did not even talk about addon.I said pages fail to open in Firefox sometimes and if you refresh them they will open.
ReloadEvery is another related add-on. But it doesn’t provide links for Google Cache or the WayBack Archive.
I’ve never used that add-on. Is it a new add on? Perhaps it’s worth trying. But usually I will just close the browser and try again at a later time. Or visit other sites first.
I never found any problem. by the way I have latest version of firefox so may be because of that I am not facing any problem
@shitu Hmm.. no idea! maybe its the problem w/ your connection or ISP. Mine just works fine…
I downloadaed add-on to FF and it is not loading any website.. not atall even after uninstalling and reinstalling it twice.. while IE is working fine..
dont know whats the problem.. plz help..
