This video shows how to remove vocals from a song recording using the free MP3 editor called Audacity. It’s for deleting the voice of the singer but not the reverse – you can’t keep vocals and delete the sound from music instruments.
Perfect for karaoke music. Work only with stereo tracks, not mono.

For some reason the file wont save as an mp3, the only option I have is to save it as an aup file which my computer won’t recognise.

Hey!
Is it possible to keep the vocals and not the music?
I want to only have the vocals from a song, because i want to do a remix.
Can i use audacity?
Or can i do it with another program?
