Microsoft Word and other Office programs gave a built-in language translator powered by WorldLingo but now you can also integrate the Windows Live Translator service into Office that in-turn uses Systran.

When you translate a Word Document via Windows Live Translator, it opens both the source document and translated version side-by-side in a browser window so you can easily only compare the results. The document formatting is also preserved.
To integrate Translator into Office Word, follow these simple steps. Going forward, the service will be pushed via an Office Update so you need not have to install it separately.
This works only with Word documents but you can translate PowerPoint presentations and other documents formats using this workaround.

As a German I can tell you that the first screenshot should say french instead of german ;D
Besides that, keep up the good work Amit.
I personally think that machine translated text is still not trustworthy, especially if you don’t speak the language you try to translate to.
So it’s always better to make a lot of friends in different countries and get some help in case you need translation or learn it yourself.
But that is just my two cents.

tried the steps and added the feature, but the translated text is; as expected….not accurate….for instance the phrase “rechargeable battery is not working anymore”, becomes, charge battery no more”…..when it’s translating from chinese to english……

I second Bjoern here : as a French, I can tell you the screenshot in English to French, not English to German ;-)
Stefan, Bjoern - I am sorry for that goof-up.
