Screen Forensics is an interesting Mac only utility that captures all open desktop windows in one go and creates a single layered image file that is compatible with Photoshop or any other PSD editor.
The captured file will have one layer per desktop window, including menu and desktop icons, dock and menubar. If you don’t have Photoshop, you can still save your capture as a bunch of PNG images.
Screen Forensics has has just launched and you can grab a trial version for free. I guess we can create a similar solution for Windows using SnagIt profiles and AutoHotKey. [via]
