Rip Text and Images from Web Pages into Beautiful Scrapbooks

rip web pages scrapbook

Ript (short for "Rip It") is an impressive software that lets you rip web content and turns them into beautiful scrapbooks like the one you see above.

web-page-rippingRipt provides a small clipping bin that floats on your desktop. You can then drag images, text snippets, Outlook emails, etc onto the bin and its stored immediately.

You then arrange these ripped items on the scrapbook like a pile of magazine clippings placed on a table.

Ript is very different from other web clipping extensions like Google Notebook or Clipmarks as it runs outside the browser and lays proper emphasis on capture as well as presentation of data. Simply drag and drop images and text from the Internet or your computer and arrange them however you please.

The software is free and available for Windows only. Supports both IE and Firefox. The scrapbooks can also be exported as JPEG images.
