Wondering what is the exact release date of Adobe CS4 software like Photoshop CS4, Flash Professional CS4, etc ?
According to Terri of Creative Pro, Adobe typically takes 18-24 months to ship a new version of their product.
Since Adobe CS3 Creative Suite was released in April 2007, Adobe Creative Suite CS4 release should happen somewhere between December 2008 and April 2009.
Adobe Creative Suite 4 is expected to include the following software - Dreamweaver CS4, Fireworks CS4, Contribute CS4, Encore CS4, After Effects CS4 Professional, Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, Soundbooth CS4, InDesign CS4, Photoshop CS4, Illustrator CS4, Acrobat CS4 Professional, Flash CS4 Professional, Adobe Bridge CS4, Version Cue CS4, Adobe Device Central CS4, Adobe OnLocation CS4 and Ultra CS4.

It was announced on Sept 23, not released.
The Inquirer states Nov 14 as the ship date, though I have yet to confirm this. Adobe hasn’t announced the ship date publicly yet, though they do allow you to sign up to be notified when it does ship.

Thank you Amit for the insight, those timelines do make sense- at least something somewhat solid to hope for.
The 23rd of Sept was clearly just a “launch” announcement for the creative CS4 suite. This was clear even before the event, if you had been keeping tabs anyways.
Also it is always amazing how uninformed people are yet have no idea, Thermo is not tied into the CS4 “Creative” suite and will be a single product purchase. A bundled package with Flex Builder 4 for a lower price cut has been speculated though.
Thermo is a creative design tool, but Adobe will still be putting it along side Flex Builder for obvious reasons as that is the products nature.
As for Bordeax, I am not informed and have no idea.
Most likely it will be a standalone as it’s a niche market, and to cut the fat off of the Creative Suite when there is already Flash CS4 in there.

Michael92, do you even use the Adobe products? I don’t understand how anyone can be so sure of themselves and yet be so wrong. It was not released in September.

My order with adobe says that the expected arrival date of my purchase (cs4) is Monday october 27th.

So did anyone get their copy yet? I just paid for mine via the adobe store and it states the arrival date is next Thursday, 7 days.

I got my CS4 Friday 24. Ordered it ten days earlier. Didn’t buy at Adobe tho. Now I’m on the look out for the sanvito typeface I should get upon register the software. Anyone got the free benefit yet?
