Record Screencast Videos with Microsoft Office Community Clips
Microsoft has introduced a basic screencasting software for Windows (free, of course) that can capture all your desktop activity including the keystrokes and audio.
You may choose to record either the full window or just a specific region on the desktop. And once you are done with the recording, the same software will upload the video online onto MSN Soapbox.
Called Office Community Clips, this software is no Camtasia replacement - it’s more for Microsoft Office users who want to quickly create help videos of their Office programs and share them on the web.
When you install Community Clips, it adds a small record button to the Quick Access Toolbars of Word, Excel and PowerPoint that allows one-click recording of the application.

Update: Since Community Clips can record audio, you may also use it for recording videos of your PowerPoint slides with the narrations.

Thanks for this review! I’m wondering if this will work for recording videos off of the internet in good quality, or if there is any other (free) software that will do this?
This will might be useful for explaining the problems well. And also its free, Is Microsoft turning into Google’s way?
I’ve been searching for this type of software for long time…thanks..
