ALLCapture Screen Recording Software - Win Free Licenses!

I do freeware reviews, so it would be somewhat against my philosophy to use a paid program, but the software does look quality, so I would use it to create video reviews or tutorials on my site to give my readers a more hands-on approach.

Also, I might use it to record a complex installation that I might perform so I don’t have to write down all the steps for the next guy!

I teach Dreamweaver classes at a community college and I need to create online tutorials to show students how to use the software. There’s no money in the budget this year for capture software, so a free license would be most welcome.

I would like to get a free copy of ALLCapture 2.0 to teach matlab.

I am an Animator and I like to make videos showing my skills . I’d love to have the software .

I would love to do more screencasts showing how to use new software and websites for Download Squad, but I’ve found my current tools a bit limiting. CamStudio still doesn’t work very well on Vista, and Screencast-o-matic captures video in extraordinarily low framerates.

I work in the field of GIS and I would like to create screencasts of how everyday users can use GIS tools to get a ton of information that they could use in their everyday lives.

In addition it would be a cool way to show some of the ways developers could leverage some of the MAP APIs out there.

I am planning to use this software for showing some tool demos. Currently I do it with screenshot which is not quite effective.

I use the open source CamStudio to produce free tutorials that cover things that professional coaches charge quite a bit for. But I’m looking for something a bit more sophisticated to make the tutorials clearer/more engaging (e.g spotlight effect in ALLCapture).

I would use it to teach people how to fix their computers without having to hold their hand in person.

I intend to use the product for a Windows Vista for non-geeks tutorial site i’m coming up with.

CamStudio does not work well with Vista and Jing only outputs SWF.

I can let go my request if alternatively you can suggest me a freeware SWF to video converter or a free SWF streaming service like Screencast.

I was planning to have some screencasts published on some basics about .NET technology so that people can get started on the technology in a better way. I was planning to offer the whole screencasts for free and so a free software to create those screencasts would be well deserved I guess.

I have recently retired from public education where, as Instructional Technology Coordinator, I developed training materials for teachers. I now teach a class at the local college but had to give back all the good software and hardware I had used before. I still want to develop tutorials and make them available to others but have no good software to use now. This program will help me continue providing valuable online assistance to my college students and my community.

I would use AllCapture to help create the tutorials I need to my church’s website and announcements loop. Not all our members know how to use the many features of our website.

I am involved in a volunteer community program (in Brisbane, Australia) where I act as a mentor for older retired people who wish to learn to use computers and access the internet (Brisbane Seniors Online). Having this software would enable me to create simple instructions that are sometimes easier to follow and understand by participants. The program is partially funded by the local council — often software purchases are made using other donations, as well as mentors using their own personal funds.
It would be great to get a licence.

I’d use this software for my weblog (at http://www.greghughes.net) to educate readers about how to do things on their computers, typically things that are not explained elsewhere. For example, the other day I wrote about a problem with the Internet time servers Microsoft uses as the Windows default being broken. Rather than (or perhaps in addition to) describing how to check and fix the problem in prose, it would have been great to do an “IT-TV” show with narration and get the point across in a more powerful and easier to understand way.

Aloha: Use of ALLCapture:I am a training manager, and would like to use this for the seminars that we host year round. In addition this would prove usefull, in that our group of consultants visit all the islands here in Hawaii, and with specific recorded sessions that could be put on cd/dvd’s and website, the application for others to learn could be summed up in “walking, talking, moving pictures” tell thousands of words. Mahalo for your consideration.

I’d like to have a free license and I will use it in my monthly report to my boss. I will create a demo vedio to show what I achieved every month.

I will use it to record my tutorials.

I am in the process of developing an internal training program to teach Red Cross staff and volunteers across the country how to operate Online Disaster Newsrooms which are powered by blogging engines.

The ability to capture realtime screen information will be a huge boon to making the training more interactive and standardized.

I am the Instructional Technology Specialist at a middle school that has a increasingly diverse and challenging population. We are in the process of implementing a large number of new initiatives. My staff and students are in the process of adjusting to a new email system, a new web site with a requirement for maintaining teacher web page, a new electronic gradebook, new benchmark systems for assuring that students meet state standards, and a new State Computer Literacy Test.

The ability to use screen captures would support the technology growth that we are trying to develop for students who do not generally have computer access away from school, would make it possible to post tutorials for students and staff and would be available for parents to use as we open our labs before and after school and as we carry laptops into public housing units to provide life skill instruction for the families we serve.

I have developed a software for my japanese client and i need to explain the customer how to use it using screen capture, I guess using screen captred explanation will help him than any other explanation…Please give me the software..Thanks to Allcapture!!!!!!!!!

I am a computer science student and would like to use it to make demos for the software i write. One web-site of mine will be coming up shortly and i would be required to explain the back end to the administrators and the heads of the concerned department. This would really help.

As a small business, I am always on the look out for good value products and services. I quite frequently need to visit clients to train them on the use CMS software to enable them to update their own website. Unfortunately this also means I sometimes need to travel for a couple of hours (if a client is in Edinburgh for example). This is not really a cost I can expect to pass on to the smaller clients, but I need to keep the very high level of customer service on offer. Therefore this software would be a fantastic opportunity to allow me to create tutorials to send out, allowing me to save time and get more work done in the office.

My mom (who is in another city ) has taken to the Internet and I will make simple tutorials on how to use mail, etc …Then, I will post it online and tell her to access them…No lofty promises …

Sounds very interesting, as I was looking for a software like that. I tried wink - which is not bad, but not sufficent for my needs.

Wow, so many posts; but, will try anyway.

My boss isn’t very techy when it comes to working with anything on his computer so he is always coming to me for help with why he can’t get into this file or how to back up; save to usb, etc.

Most of the time I know how to do the things he is asking but ever once in ahwile he comes across something I am now sure about so I go out to the web to search until I find the solution. I then usually have to print several pages or write it down. With this program I could caputer the tutorials or instructions so that next time (which usually happens 4 months later) that he asks I can get in my files and find the printed out copy of the screen captures that I have thanks to the copy of “AllCapture” that you so wonderully surprised me with.

The other reason is I am getting into scrapbooking and cardmaking as my daughter has moved away several states away with my 2 little granddaughters. I have found some wonderful tutorials for making scrapbook pages, cards, and layouts but no way to really print them. This would be such an asset for doing that. There are just so many ways that I would use “AllCaptue”.
It wouldn’t just sit on my hard drive idle; even though it would be a wonderful surprise gift and cost me nothing it will still be worth the dollar value if I had to buy it.

I have a few blogs.I would use the screen capturing software to help my readers to view other blogs and events that are on the netspace. This, I believe would be much more useful than providing url links.
I am not of a techie though.

As a freelance designer, I spend numerous hours training clients on content management systems, blogs, and other material. I’ve never used screen capture software before so I would love to try to make some tutorials for my clients.

If I had such a s/w, I’d use it to improve quality of help subsystems of my utilities. In many cases it’s better to see once, than to read many times.

But I am sure I won’t win. Not with my luck…

I spend most of my work time doing one of three tasks:
• Learning to use new software including often watching webcasts or taking virtual labs.
• Passing that knowledge on after breaking out the complexity where possible
• Reporting bugs and user experience issues to the software creators.

This software would help me:
• Save relevant portions of the webcasts and virtual labs for review purposes
• Capture my instruction so the people I work with will be able to review my work instead of having to contact me about things they have forgotten
• Decrease the complexity present in text-based bug reporting and user-experience issues by capturing them life and letting the capture aide a verbal as well as a written submission.

I’ll be launching this blog is October … I would like to use ALLCapture to make screencasts for senior citizens, to teach them the basics of using their computer, and how to avoid scams on the Internet.

Oh its already such a long list, yet I am giving it a try. I will use this for Podbharti http://www.podbharti.com and (hopefully) give all my listeners something back :)

I am a pro-blogger who have been writing Japanese tech weblog for more than 2 years almost every day and got a-lister awards last year in Japanese blogosphere (one of the biggest blogspace language on the web). I am interested in using and posting review on the product, one for our readers and the other for myself future usage, as I could not find the fit screencast solution for my blog article yet.

It will also be good check if the application works well on Japanese version of Windows.

I am considered to be the tech expert in the family and this often involves repeatedly showing family and friends how to do the one task over and over. I would use it to record the steps that need to be taken and then save it to there computer, this way they can play the file when they need it.

I am also in the process of helping set up web pages for a friend who is not very computer literate, so having this program would enable me to produce a step by step guide on changing and uploading webpages.

I have been told it is great software, but just can not afford it and all the free versions place watermarks on the resulting file or only allow a certain time limit

I am a Developer , I give presentations , do documentations jobs , handle batch trainings in a corporate envoirnment . I read about the deal sounds interesting enough to try and promote if it is that successful , A lot of POC’s required that can ensure the usability . All depends on the performance of the software.

I plan to use this software to educate people living here, in rural Botswana (AFrica) through a little computer outlet that we have set up. My basic aim is to start with certain softwares such as MS Office.

Screen capture is highly required for everyday work -be it keeping work track,screenshot,records,teaching for my babies, but the price tag is too high and therefore a giveaway software is really a blessings to me.
