Fast Dial is a Firefox Extension which converts your start page to an Opera Speed Dial like 3×3 grid of web links.

To set the links, you click on any blank square, enter the URL, the title, and optionally a logo and a shortcut. Fast Dial sets site thumbnails if you don’t specify a logo.

The Fast Dial grid will appear whenever you open a blank Tab or Window.
