Like other web clipping tools, Google Reader now lets you save content from regular web pages. Earlier the sharing feature in Google Reader was limited only to sites that syndicated content via RSS feeds.

To make this web clipping process a bit simpler in Firefox, Jay has released a new version of Shareaholic that now includes support for Google Reader in addition to Twitter, Digg, FriendFeed and so on.

You select some text on a web page (hyperlinks supported) and then choose a service where you want to save / share that stuff. Simple.

Shareaholic is an absolute must-have Firefox extension if you regularly share content on social websites.
