Foxit 3.0, the lightweight alternative to Adobe PDF Viewer, now lets you view PDF files inside the Firefox browser itself.

Prior to this version, PDF links would prompt a download and the document would load outside Firefox in the standalone Foxit Reader. Thanks Lifehacker.

I miss the old days when a PDF viewer was not a part of the PDF browser. I still prefer to have Foxit running in it’s own window. Luckily it is easier to change this setting in FireFox than what it is with Internet Explorer.
