I was recently on NewsX TV channel talking about the Apple iPad. Made the following points during the discussion:
1. Though Apple has strict control over the Apps that make it to the iTunes tore, this is not a bad thing for consumers because they have a guarantee that the app is safe and won’t steal their data.
2. Apple iPad could the be last major product from Apple under Steve Jobs.
3. Apple has kept the price low as they are still testing new waters and partnership with carriers around the world will subsidize the cost.
4. Other than web browsing and multimedia, iPad could be a great kitchen computer for the whole family to maintain their notes, tasks, calendar, etc.
5. The most unique part of iPad is the new A4 processor due to which content renders so fast according to various reports.
