Google AdSense ads will make an appearance in Google Image search very soon. This is not a clear screen capture but should give you an idea about how well Google has managed to blend advertising in image search results.

Google had earlier experimented mixing images with text ads but for a very brief period.

Perhaps it’s another focused revenue avenue to ad image ads - More people I think, are searching Google images. Also I notice if you insert images in your blog, it improves your blog being displayed through image search. Therefore, I wonder if Google would introduce a adsense type participation for blog/web publishers for image ads?

But the ads should be image ads, so that interacts well with visitors. Text Ads will not perform well.
