I have a strong intuition that Google India is about to make a big “mobile related” announcement – it could be the launch of Google Local Search, Maps, Ad services or something related for cell phone users in India.
Googlers Gokul Nath Babu Manoharan and M T Raghunath have posted on Google site that they’ll have some new shortly (in few days).
M T Raghunath works in the Mobile search / ad services division at Google and hence my guess that Google will announce something in Mobile space.
