Microsoft 2007 Imagine Cup Competition

The Imagine Cup, sponsored by Microsoft, is the world’s premier student technology competition. More than 100,000 students from 100 different countries entered the 2007 competition, which is themed around education productivity and solutions.

The global finals of the 2007 Imagine Cup competition will be held in Seoul, South Korea in August 2007.

This year, the competition has decided to do two different sets of activities around the event.  The first is a June 28th event in Second Life designed to virtually bring together students and those interested, as well as to create a virtual gallery to showcase the students’ work.  The island will be unveiled after a media briefing.

The second activity is the official Imagine Cup Blog, which will feature posts by Imagine Cup staff and the students themselves.  It will act as the hub for sustained communication between the event staff, the participants, and those interesting in following the events.
