Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division, India is announcing its partnership with Educomp – a leading technology driven innovative education organization in India, to encourage interactive learning amongst children on the Xbox 360 platform. The subjects to be made available are Math, Social Studies and Science ranging from classes III – XII based on the CBSE/ICSE curriculum.

The curriculum content to be developed by Educomp for Microsoft will be creatively designed by teachers, subject matter experts, and innovative designers to meet critical challenges faced by students in their everyday learning. It will stimulate user interest and engagement in learning and help them understand abstract curriculum concepts. The Xbox 360 platform provides an additional layer of interactivity and convenience to the student. The advanced graphical capabilities and ease of use of the Xbox 360 platform will make it easy and fun for students who will get their first taste of edutainment.

The content development process is underway and the parents, teachers and children will soon be able to grab a copy of the CD /DVDs.

For the first time in India; the Xbox 360 will be leverage as an educational tool to facilitate learning amongst students. The interactivity, visual appeal and graphics of credible education content based on the CBSE, ICSE curriculum, to be provided on the Xbox 360 console will enable kids to enjoy learning as never before
