I protest. My country, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is not shaded in the literature category although Ivo Andric won in 1961.

I don’t know about the Nobel Price in Chemistry. How come Poland isn’t marked? Didn’t Maria Curie-Sklodowska receive one for chemistry and one for physics?

Hello,
Nice post. It was very interesting.
However, if your server is hosted in India, you might want to blur the boundaries of India. The geographical boundaries that you are showing on the international map are the real ones and not the ones approved by the Survey of India.

Is it only me who thinks there cannot be a more biased organization than the Nobel prize committee?

don’t the results speak for themselves… skewed and biased… its a stupid prize for western thought!

Poland has one Nobel price in Physics and one in Chemistry, both thanks to Maria Skłodowska-Curie, who was of Polish and French nationality.

Hi!
Maybe I don’t see well, but on Nobel Prise for Peace should be also Romania (my country) win by Ioan Moraru!
I think that on that picture map Romania is with white color, but maybe I’m wrong!

@ringlerun Maria Skłodowska-Curie born as Polish, but she did her work in Radium Institute of the University of Paris, France. Nobel prize give for the work they did.
Eg: Mother Teresa got for India not for Turkey, she worked for Leader of Missionaries of Charity, Calcutta, India.

This is the most idiotic exercise in statistical masturbation I have ever seen. What is this data supposed to show? This is like presuming some significance to the number of gold medals won at the Olympics by a particular political entity. At least recently Olympians sometimes represent their native lands. And, even if you sorted out the prizes by the actual individual winner’s ethnicity rather than their current national address, what does that tell you?
