The recent Mumbai terror attacks seems to have sent large droves of people to the internet looking for live information, resulting in a sharp rise of traffic to Indian news sites.
According to the Times of India, their website received 1.89 million unique visitors on Thursday (26th November), more than double their average of 700,000. Pageviews rose to 17 million, a four-fold increase from an average of 4.5 million.
