Today marks the 140th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Google is celebrating this with a new doodle on their homepage.
Extremely creative and I think Gandhiji is the only second Indian (after Rabindranath Tagore) who made it to the Google homepage.

You can find it on Google UK and Google South Africa sites too. Two of the countries that are most influenced by Gandhi ji.
Earlier, I was disappointed seeing no special doodle on August 15 (except on Orkut) but now, Mahatma has made even Google move.

Rabindranath tagore coined the term “Mahatma” for M.K.Gandhi.It seems Google has indexed that story and featured both of the legends.:)
