On April 1, 2005, Google announced a drink called Google Gulp to "quench your thirst for knowledge."
No, Google was not getting into the food business and this Gulp launch was just another April Fools’ Day prank but it probably inspired a company in India to launch a semi-frozen slush.
The drink is called "gogola" and is available for sale outside shopping malls in Mumbai. Their tagline "make gogola your thirst quencher" which is very similar to that of Google Gulp gives a clue that Gulp probably had some role to play in the launch.
These pictures of the Gogol stalls were captured by Brajeshwar (flickr) and Patrick. Also see this Google Sari the design of which is again inspired by the Google homepage.

That’s one hell of a gola.
Next thing, they are going to 301 Redirect customers to their next closest stall in case they face a 404 Page Not Found (Gola’s run out of stock)
