One of the useful features of Internet Explorer 9 is that you can pin websites to the Windows 7 taskbar and access them just like any other program on your desktop.

To pin a website, simply click the web page icon in Internet Explorer and drag it your Windows task bar. If you have never done that before, watch the following video screencast as it demonstrates how you can pin the Hulu website to your Windows task bar:

Get Hulu Plus for Free with IE 9

Hulu, as you know, is a popular on-demand video service that lets you watch movies and TV shows from the comfort of your browser. Hulu is free but if you wish to stream Hulu’s video content on devices other than your computer, you need to get a Hulu Plus subscription.

Now the good news is that Microsoft has partnered with Hulu to offer IE 9 users a month of Hulu Plus subscription for free. To participate, all you need to need to do is pin the Hulu website to your Windows 7 task bar and, starting March 28th, the offer should become available in IE’s Jump List.

PS: Hulu is officially available only in the U.S. and though there are workaround that let you stream Hulu to other countries, I doubt if the Microsoft offer would be valid outside the States.
