Free Digital Magazines from Zinio - Is the offer valid anymore?

Last month, Zinio started offering digital editions of several popular magazines to owners of iPod and iPhone for free. The news generated enough buzz because anyone could read these magazines on the desktop and not just the iPod owners.

If you are on the Zinio iPhone website, you can still access these magazines for free but looking closely, you’ll see that they are all old issues though the latest issue of every magazine is very much available at the Zinio store.

That’s the reason why I doubt if this offer from Zinio for iPod users is valid anymore – maybe the number of people who read these digital editions using workarounds was too high forcing Zinio to rethink their decision.

Now that’s a perfectly valid reason but they should also probably communicate this.
