Sticky Screen is a simple online version of the yellow Post-It Note that you can set as your browser homepage.
You just have to type something onto the sticky note and set that website as your browser home page. No need to register anywhere and there’s no save button.
The yellow sticky note will show up whenever you start the web browser. The magic is due to a cookie that gets saved locally so the sticky note will change to the default one if you decide to clear the cookies someday.
For something more permanent, check these Post It Notes for Desktop.

I don’t see this as much use as this sticks with A computer. Unless you use a single computer for all your needs there is no point of typing-in all those stickies to just use it from one computer. Also when you do a CCleaner (or similar) whatever the stickies that we have could easily be lost.

IMHO, the best program in this genre is Stickies…from Zhorn software. The great thing is that it gives you a panel to manage stickies…it lets you search through them to find the one you need. Many interesting features..eg. you can associate stickies with files (eg. a particular document) ..the sticky then pops up when you open the document.

Stick2Search.com does very much the same thing with just a touch of icing on the cake. It allows multiple sticky notes, and you can move them around. It includes a Google search box. Its pretty simple, but I guess, for me, its got the slight edge over stickyscreen as being start page worthy.
