Firefox fans, you just helped Mozilla set a unique Guinness World Record for the “Most downloaded software in 24 hours.”
Though the official body of Guinness World Records is yet to approve this record attempt, Firefox is celebrating with certificates that also carry a Guinness World Records logo.
To print your own certificate, go to spreadfirefox.com, type your name and download the certificate in PDF format.

Well done to all at Mozilla - I couldn’t believe how quickly it downloaded and how 95% of my add-ons worked straight away.
Textbook roll-out.

But how would they know that I have downloaded it? Shouldn’t they identify the browser before showing the page? I could open the page from IE6 too…

I got a certificate through Opera :) sounds funny. But I have my firefox 3 downloaded :)

Bad idea…User details should have been collected before downloading and certificates should have been sent to those users automatic…
Else those who downloaded may not know about this certificate and those who didn’t download also may print certificates for themselves…
Add to that it is unofficial…so what is the point? Would have been more credible if issued by the official agency…
