I Dose has a collection of free sounds that, they say, can help relax your stressed brain or make it more alert and improve the concentration level.
These are basically Binaural Beats and used by neurophysiologists to lower the brain frequency to relax the listener or to raise it to help focusing.
I haven’t tried them but there’re a few interesting tones. For instance, i you are addicted to caffeine, try the Coffee Break tone as a replacement for drinking coffee. Then there’s an Inspiration tone for creative artists and writers.

Tried it back when it came out, a few times. Never worked. Tried it with some friends. never worked. The sound is definitely soothing/interesting to hear, and relaxing to listen to, but does not live up to the claims of the company

I couldn’t distinguish from sound from another.
More over, if people use these sounds in their 1GB iPod (without the screen), they would never know what they are listening to.

Anyone heard of Mind Power Music? I used one as as student.
In general, I think any good music helps to relax! I feel good and often listen to music such as Modoc by Steve Morse, Pachebel’s Canon etc.. at work.

I do not think that nothing works better than Pranayam. Yoga(Pranayam) is an ancient science which can do wonders to your brain.Pranayam is a technique of breathing. If you want to know anything about Pranayam.feel free to ask.No charges.

Yes, even I have tried MindPowerMusic by Raj Bapana in my school days. Don’t know whether it really helped or not, but I did do simple Meditation like Shavasan or Pranayama which were very effective. I have heard of many “mind machines” but they never tried as they cost in $$.

I could hear just a raster noise in all the sounds… Did anyone hear anything else?
Written by Arun on 07.10.08

Hmm… Only heard sound like tuning radio station and a long tune… Or maybe noise. But who knows inspiration will come out. Thanks for sharing.

There seems to be no legible sound. Sounds like when my cable guy is trying to find the channels and the TV is desperately trying to keep up
