A Doctor couple, with the hope of seeing their son’s name in the Guinness World records book, asked their 15-year-old son to perform a Caesarean section – their logic “If a 10-year- old can drive and a 15-year- old can become a doctor in the US, what is wrong if my son performs a surgery?”
The couple videotaped the surgery miraculously, the patient is safe – performed by the Class 10 student and played it before an Indian Medical Association (IMA) meeting supporting their claim to a world record. [HT ePaper]
