Salute to the master! My daily bread and butter comes from working on Microsoft products.
As a tribute to this great man I am not using any Google product for today!
Surprisingly, since morning I am able to do all my job with ease without using Google.
Grow up Amit. Stop being stupid. Give him some respect on his final day. What do you want to show by putting up the photoshopped pic. Do you even know anything about linux. Always posting about about windows applications only.
Amit..
That is weird… Its not the time to mock Bill Gates. Afterall, its Microsoft that made computers accesible to everyone. If there was not Microsoft, then probably there wont be Linux at all… maybe they wont be this popular.
And how did you first learn computers..? On a Microsoft Windoes 3.1.. right..? or maybe on Windows 95. What you did in here does not look like a tribute to your first teacher. Please remove the picture.
The first thing I did after seeing the image above ( ubuntu ) : Laughed !!!
:)
@Arun and Prashant : Just chill man ! everybody here hate MS { for an unknown reason(s) } and moving towards Linux .
Well , no doubt Mr. Gate is a great and revolutionary person in the history of human kind and Windows is best software produced ever ( as it is so easy ) but , I can’t see anything wrong with that image !!
Amit.
Agree, why are you mocking him in his last day in Microsoft? He’s a leader once in the software program field once I mean if there wasn’t he,there would be computer so widely used now. He’s a businessman but also a explorer
great man!
wish him a peaceful life and good health
may God bless him
Bill Gates.. is a successful man .. no doubt… he looks simple too .. people are just envy of him… he has made the world computer literate
Bill gates we love you !
And whose gonna take bill’s place
and thanks amit for this update
Not a good thing for a reputed blog like this one, to put a photoshopped image of Bill Gates recommending to use Linux. !
If Bill was not there almost 90 % of us wont be using PCs like we do today.
All said and done Linux ( the desktop version ) is not way close to windows of today. For a average user still windows is the recommended OS.
Bill Gates - not sure how history will judge him. But in any case he is a very successful businessman, who made possible to have PC on every desktop/household. Without him computer might be a part of big corporate. Wish him every success in his charity work.
Good luck Bill. You are an inspiration to all of us.
Miss you
Bill Gates is really an Inspiration. See if there is no Windows what would be the world’s condition. Its like the life is running in Windows. Amit never show you could have done some better other than showing that great person in this image!
I really disagree with this!
It’s just a joke. Get a life!
So now Microsoft will be on a new age……..
“Supporting Linux or Lindows”
I think the Bill kind of era in computing is finished after Bill’s exit. Now we will be looking at a new wave a new era which will be much more simpler and userfriendly. Bill & Steve cannot be replaced
amit
y dont u give bill gates a gud adieu??
Though evryone blame Windows… aftr all it made computing easy 4 evryone…
thnx 2 bill gates..
And I thought Amit was a MICROSOFT MOST VALUABLE PROFESSIONAL!!!!
Good Bye Mr. Gates! Thank you.
Bill gates rocks!!
but,is it the time for an Indian bill gates..
Can we have the one like him..
Can Narayan murthy touch the skies like Gates?
Yeah! gr8, love you post, i will be happy if can promote Gatesfoundation
i love how we all assume without bill and microsoft, we’d not have the computers we have today.
did you all forget about the commodore, spectrums, msx, and orics?
think of how broader the choice, of computers that we could use on the internet, if we hadn’t have the crushing influence of microsoft?
we went into a dark age of monolithic computing not a golden age when we embraced microsoft.
good bye and good riddance bill.
Making traffic to your blog is good.
But this is absolutely bad to mock Mr. Bill Gates giving no respect even on his last working day :@
At all the flamers above (and windows supporters): Give the guy a break, it’s his blog, he’s allowed to say whatever he wants to.
And Gates will still be there as a chairman, he isn’t going anywhere. You’re married to such products - until death breaks you apart :)
This guy followed his heart and found his way.. He made a difference to billions of people worldwide. Salute him!
@medigeek:
I agree, Amit has every right to make his thoughts in his blog. But, i don’t think anybody can change the history . You can very well make a new and better future using Ubuntu or whatever. But you wont be able to change the History - History of Computing, that is. The place of Mr.Bill is higher there than anyone else.
He is such a guy, that he transformed computers into our daily life. Imagine if there is no Microsoft, how the world could be look like!
Another Legend sets back……..Bill i hope this world understands, what you actually gave to it…..Live long Billy
This man is great. so heads off for this great developer. he has a big fight all in his life . struggling for every thing in life also got success . now we have to respect this person .
