Microsoft developers are using Adobe Captivate to create training modules, screencasts and other tutorials for users of MSN and Windows Live Services.

This was revealed through a job vacancy posted by Microsoft on Volt, a temporary staffing agency. It says:

Looking for someone who can build simulations for online training modules using Adobe Captivate.  There will be no instructional design or development, just simulation building.  This team creates the customer support agent training for MSN and other MS “Live” service offerings.

They’re located on the Microsoft Sammamish Campus in Issaquah, Washington. Link.
