EverNote (iTunes link), one of the most popular productivity apps for iPhone and iPod Touch, has been updated.
You can now add tags or edit text inside existing Evernote notes directly on the iPhone. The note could either be plain text or may contain media like images, audio, etc.
Evernote also revamped their audio recorder for the iPhone / iPod Touch and also increased the maximum recording time 5 minutes.

I’m guessing the voice recording feature is for the iPhone only (no mic on the iPod touch). Though I guess I have seen 3rd party hacked together mics for the touch, so maybe it would work.

Sounds cool, but could you tell me how to record audio on an iPod Touch?

@Ross I was hoping I had missed something ;-)

The iPod Touch 2nd Generation supports voice recording when you add one of the various microphones available. Apple, Griffin and others now offer headphone+mic combination devices. There are other devices out on the market that I’m interested in finding out about. If anyone has experience with other mic products on the Touch, please post about them!
