Looks like there are some serious issues with Cuil.

A recent story in MIT Technology Review suggested that Cuil is still trying hard to stage a comeback by including content from social sites (like Twitter) into their search results but the above screenshots prove something else.

Cuil did not show any search results for some very common queries (like Barack Obama, Independence Day and Microsoft) but the more surprising part is that no one is complaining about their failure. Maybe nobody is using Cuil anymore though a report on Compete says that some 90k people visited the domain cuil.com last month.

Digital Inspiration had a total of 5 visitors from Cuil in the past 30 days according to Google Analytics.
