Besides having the most comprehensive collection of videos in one place, the other good thing about YouTube is that it has an extremely large community of users who work hard and diligently to organize this ever-growing database of videos into playlists that make YouTube even more enjoyable.
How to Copy Other’s YouTube Playlists
Like everything else on the web, YouTube playlists may decay, or even disappear, with time if the playlist owner is not actively maintaining them. Sometimes, the videos contained in your favorite playlists may have been deleted from YouTube or the owner may no longer be updating the playlists with new videos.
Thus the best thing would be that you create an exact copy of a YouTube playlist to your Google account and maintain them on your own.
YouTube has actually made it quite easy for you to clone any public video playlists. Open any video playlist page and click on any of the video thumbnails. Then from the playlist bar at the bottom, choose Options – > Save as a new playlist.
Here’s a quick video describing the steps. If you don’t see that Save option on your YouTube page, you’ve probably not signed in with your Google Account.
