Is Twitter Blocked ? You Can Still Send or Receive Tweets

After blocking Skype and Flickr, the UAE government has now banned Twitter in the country.

If you are a Twitter addict and happen to be in Emirate of Dubai during this time, here are some easy workarounds to help you bypass the ban access your Twitter updates like before:

1. Use Google Talk - You just have to add twitter@twitter.com as a contact to send and receive twitter messages via Google Talk. This technique work both for the desktop and mobile version of Google Talk.

2. If Google Talk is blocked in your office, try the web-based Flash version of Google Talk that’s available at talkgadget.google.com.
