Meet the hardest working people from the tech blogging world. The list is based on the number of blog posts written by any particular author blogger (in English) over a period of time.
The Lifehacker editors take the top positions followed by Arrington of TechCrunch and Cory Doctorow of Boing Boing. This data is sourced from rssmeme and may not be 100% accurate (Om Malik, Allen Stern, Brad Linder of Download Squad and Inquisitr are missing) but still good enough to help us acknowledge the most hard working souls in the blogosphere.

Truly these people deserve what they are having today. Its very tough to assume in their place with out tasting the hardships they might have gone through. I really congratulate them from the very bottom of my heart. Also i feel you (Amit)Should be some where among these people. I wish you all a Very Very Happy New Year.

interesting list Amit – thanks for noting CN – much appreciated. i guess for some the “paragraph and a link” helps to boost the counts… but still interesting nonetheless.
happy new year!

Just curious, Some of the Blogs of the list have links and some not…
Written by RC Mishra on 01.02.09
Mishra – is there a point in linking to the same blog multiple times in a single post? Lot of bloggers mentioned here write for the same publication.
Written by Amit on 01.02.09
Amit is just being modest otherwise he should be very near the top of that list

Hey Amit,
I see DI at 38. When do we get to see you in Top 10 ?:)… This itself is no mean achievement, though. Great stuff, indeed. Keep it going!
Happy New Year ! Happy Blogging !
Regards,
Sudev

Echoing Mishra, I agree blogs should be linked several times, Amit. You can always add a nofollow link attribute to the repetitions. Because I had the same question until I saw Mishra’s comment.

Yes, people that we should respect.
Thx

So these are the people who do not sleep just because of blogging. Interesting to see that almost all of them are tech oriented.

Maybe you should include me too amit! :)

why is Jorn Barger not mentioned ?
Written by HP on 01.03.09
Nice list. Found you via link . I have to agree with Jorn, he really should be in the top 10. Is he being excluded because he uses Delicious as his blogging platform?
Written by Nigel on 01.03.09
Hey, where’s robotwisdom? rwaux??
Written by Red Ruby on 01.03.09
Surely, Jorn Barger of RobotWisdom should have, at least, honorable mention.
Written by michael robbins on 01.03.09
My introduction to the ‘blogosphere’ years ago was robotwisdom.com. It is a shame that Jorn Barger’s hard work isn’t on this list as he singlehandedly updates his blog on numerous tech issues. I wonder why his comment link was removed from this site and whether mine will remain.
Don’t get me wrong, this is an interesting list filled with hard working bloggers, but if you purport to be listing the best of something quantifiable you should show us the metrics, dig? Most blogs over an unspecified period of time can’t be taken too seriously, can it?

Everyone here who know the hard work of Amit is surprised that Amit is not listed in the hardworking bloggers’ list.
Well,he should definitely be among those not just mentally but also technically.Technically, “rssmeme.com” just counts the number of posts made on a blog basing upon the feed of that blog. But here on DI,not all posts are included in the feed.
Amit writes many posts, just too many, but only some of them appear in the feed(as this post). The other posts are not to be seen in the feed and they are meant for search engine visitors etc.,.
So,anyways, let us give Amit an unofficial “Hard Working Blogger Award”.
Congrats Amit.

It is great when someone takes the time to recognize people for what they do best. I am sure that if I gave my list of hardest working bloggers it would include choices that were questioned, too.
If you disagree with someone’s choice then start your own list. It is not like the Academy Awards, or did these people have several chances to get it right with directors, make-up, lighting, script writers, and producers. We can’t forget the money!
I think just the fact that the category is so specific narrows the choices down quite a bit. Amit Agarwal can pick who he wants.
I saw this blog post on the Mixx network and I decided to see what it was all about. I learned some things by reading this post, too.
I think the post served a good purpose, and I appreciate anyone who gets to spend time doing what they enjoy doing.
Thanks for sharing.

All – The list is made using data from RSS Meme, as noted above, so it’s obvious that some good hard working bloggers may have been missed in the list.
Written by Amit on 01.04.09
Over what period of time is rssmeme measuring these guys’ output? I’ve published more than 1500 posts on Sciencebase.com alone with several other blogs hard on that site’s heels…
Written by David Bradley on 01.05.09
Im Glad Amit you didn’t added your name in the list.. ;)

And I’ve posted over a million words a year every year since 2003, but obviously you’re promoting the people you want to promote and not truly the most prolific bloggers (Steve Benen outposts all of these people hands down). Still that’s no excuse for deleting a comment from Jorn Barger, one of the very first bloggers and the man who coined the term “weblog.”
link
The man has been blogging since 1997 — show some respect and put his comment back up! I’m serious. You can delete my comment for all I care but if you don’t restore Barger’s comment I will forevermore use your site as an example of bloggers “who just don’t get it.”
Written by Mark Gisleson on 01.10.09
jorn ??? robotwisdom is currently down
the domain expires on the 29th january.
and he posts at link .
Most of his article are link lists and he even wrote an article about his comment getting erased.
Jorn deserves mention in a “hall of fame” article which this article is not.

It has been rightly said as “There is no short cut to success “. Success is the consequence of hard work, determination, planning and luck….. Its wonderful to see all these incredible hardworking bloggers.
