WordPress Users Can Leave Comments in Blogger

Google has added OpenID support in Blogger comments engine - that means if you are logged into WordPress, TypePad, LiveJournal or any of the other OpenID supported services, you can leave a comment on Blogger Blogs using the same credentials.

This is a wonderful feature for Bloggers who have opened comments only to users that have a Google Account to reduce spam.

They can now accept comments from users of other blog platforms as well but will less probability of getting spammed.

OpenID support is currently available for Draft Blogger. Test this new service by leaving a comment here.

Amit,
I noticed another change. When you comment on your own blog, it gives you an option of nickname so that your profile url in not shown. Try it on labnol.blogspot.com

This is a doorway to make a link with different blogs platforms. It will surely a great way to communicate.
