Blogger today launched "Reactions", an instant ratings feature for individual blog posts. So unlike the start ratings system where people express their opinion (poor to excellent) on a scale of 1 to 5, here you can customize the scale.

To enable this feature, go to "Layout" > "Page Elements" and click on "Edit" in the "Blog Posts" element.

Check on the "Reactions" option, and add the applicable responses.

This is Nice. Using outbrains and others code to rate blog posts have one disadvantage and the disadvantage is that page loading time increases if we add such type of code belongs to transfer from other servers.

Initially, even star rating system used to take a lot of time to load. The performance was even worse for label pages (one of the reason why i got rid of it).Later they did make some changes to it so as to make it load a bit faster. Some new features of blogger still perform erratically (recently their embedded comments feature was giving trouble). I have have decided to be cautious about adding new features.
