This is how David Armano describes a typical day of his ‘blogging + work + family’ life.
Am sure lot of people can connect with this diagram especially those who actively blog and also have a full-time job somewhere.

Is someone spying on me? This is eerily close to my daily routine. (Not the kids to bed part.)

Hah, he has it right except for the kids part…spawning offspring doesn’t help your success on the Internet, most bloggers wouldn’t do that.

hmm.. but not much similar to my life..
As a full time working professional I spent around 10 hrs in office and 2 hrs in traveling right from 9 am to 9 pm.. actual blogging activities starts at 10 pm onwards..
rest of the time I am a blogger the imagine how much time I get to think, write and publish articles :-)
It’s very tight schedule you know.. and hard to manage if you are on full time job..
Congrats Amit for your 24 hrs available to you for blogging and freedom to do rest of the things with plenty of time!!! Am i correct?

Amit, sometimes I get sooo annoyed by not having enough time for Internet catching-up…now I could see that other people have very similar problems:)

Aside from the children, Your working “social” lifestyle is similar to my own. I’ve been recently tasked as the Social Analyst at my company, and with a newly-minted Blackberry with every mobile social amenity to date, its safe to say my girlfriend derides my plastic lover(whoa, sounds gross)

A bit different for me.
6:00 AM - Run 30 minutes
6:30 AM Shower
7:00 AM leave for work
For me family first, job second, then comes blogging.
Did you use a specific APP for making that diagram? Thanks

Started blogging few days back. This routine is exactly close to my routine. And I hate job when I have to work till late hours in office !!! Now I am convinced that I am not alone with this problem.

Doesn’t seem his job takes up too much of his time if he’s able to comment on blogs whilst at work!
I rarely even have time to think of blogs when working, only very occasionally have time for a Tweet or 2..
I must be in the wrong job!

I have tried to tell my friends who are undergraduates and young professionals to start blogging because it will increase their personal brand and they will meet some great people.
The #1 excuse they give for not starting a blog is that they “don’t have enough time.”
Your picture perfectly shows how someone who is busy all day can MAKE TIME to blog by being disciplined. Keep it up!!!
