Amitabh Bachchan’s Blog Stats

So many visits at his blog? Because there are billion people in India and there are millions of blog readers.

Its quite close to Digital Inspiration’s statistics

If you closely look at the comments Amitabh’s blog receive, you will see that most of them are from his fans and are not at all connected to what he has written.. Most of them are like “I am your big fan”

While these are extremely impressive figures for sure, it does hint that only a very small fraction of India’s 1 billion strong population may actually be reading blogs online.

Indian population != Internet users in India

Not all of the 1 billion population has access to computers/internet enabled devices and from those who have access to computers/internet enabled devices not all are online! :) Besides, not everyone might be interested in what he’s writing about & I know atleast 1 person, me! ;)

@ link : If you look at unique visitors to his blog since April, it says 1 million.

Now this includes people who may not be reading Amitabh’s blog regular but have visited it at least once since the launch in April 2008.

And if you consider all the media hype surrounding his blog, I think lot of Indians who have (or do not have) web access may have tried visiting the site. This includes people living outside India as well.

amitabh bachhan is a super star … anything he does grabs atttention !!

Figures on Big B are impressive in such a short time. The figures can be attributed to the iconic status of Amitabh and has got no relation to number of people in India having access to internet as this is a worldwide phenomenon. All said and done it definetly is an inspitation to new bloggers.Even Amit – The Blogger is no less ICONIC.

Big B is itself a great BRAND Name today.
Anything and almost everything that he does, has a top rated news topic coverage always.

Besides, listening directly to what Amitabh ji has to say, is in itself many people’s dream..

Such people, live on the blessings of their fans and well wishers.. I have seen his blog many a times… Some one has posted a comment, where they say, people dont much read of what Amitabh has to say, but all they do mostly is “I AM YOUR BLOG FAN” types.. thats a real truth..

With those great figures of visitors, in such a less time, I would say, people are slowly and gradually loosing their interest in it. Everything that is new and unknown in first is attractive and pulls you toward itself, but after a certain time, you startt being practical..

Even I would say, that I am a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan, but that no where means, that I will literally go to his blog daily and read what he has to say, or post atleast a comment regularly, reason being, practically we are wasting our time.. though it is said that Amitabh Bachchan, himself reads the comments of all the commenters, it is no where a truth any more now.

Recently I came through article that said, Amitabh bachchan replied to thousands of messages those were wishing him for his birthday on the night before he got admitted to hospital. But do u guys think, replying to millions of commenters is really a possible thing..

Apart, if the reply comes, how can you be sure, that it is Amitabh bachchan himself replying to your comments..

I personally have never been replied to any of my posts..

Anyways.. these are the great celebs, and are at the position, where even if they dont work anymore, there upcoming 7 generations would eat comfortably, but that is not the case with normal people like us.

So lets get down back to our works and forget about all that hardly has any sense..

Big B is really Big by his personality. He is not only actor who acts and became popular in front of people.
In his real life he is also a good person. One can make him his ideal, a person who is fighting from lots of comments issued by over preach people.

Big B is not a god, but a gentle person, my suggestion is that he should do some social work for poor and needy people.

I would sure like to add this that all what is said is good ,it is very nice to know that there are so many people viewing the blog as MR.BACHAN has rights as a free person to blog and all the people around the world have a right to read his blog i am a blogger myself.

sir I read your comment on SLUMDOG. I respect your view but fact is: It is not idea but way of execution that makes that film outstanding and Bollywood should learn that technic.Mainstream Indian cinema is like sugar coated pills.

You are an Ikon for some people in India.I myself and my whole family are the great admirers of you,but one of your film “Baghban” put a very bad impact in our family.My relation with my father is totaly destroyed since then.I dont know how to tackle the situation.Please help.

Amitabh bachchan belongs to old era but he may be seen admiring only his father,son and daughter and now daughter inlaw. The place of other family members find no mention in his thoghts seems he is quite selfish,ungrateful to childhood friends/ teachers/close family relatives/collegues/college friends/neighbour ofAllahabad or kolkatta or Mumbai on attaining top position in life.

I am great fan of Big B. may be his blog about Slumdog is not apeciated but world has accepted that talent like Rubina in the film which in realty also belongs to slum,can win Oscar.
