The BSE Sensex on July 2, 2007 made an all time high of 14,738. The index has gained 20% from its low on March 16, 2007 in 72 sessions.
The gain has been on back of sold performance of scrips in sectors like capital goods, metal, oil & gas, PSU and banking stocks. In this rally, IT, cement, telecom and sugar have been laggards.
Now the question on everybody’s mind is whether the Sensex would touch the magical 15,000 figure before the quarterly results start in beginning with the Infosys numbers.

sensex could have touched 15k easily today if DLF would have got a great opening, like vishal retail yesterday. DLF being the 1 lac crore capital company can beat rcom in terms on capital. but pretty sure that it will touch 15k within next week. Market momentum looks to be great with good upcoming listing. One being the fpo of ICICI bank, and then the HDIL another big issue.
So markets can touch 15K easily with next 2 weeks.
