Finally Deccan paves way for Kingfisher Red

From August 29, 2008, the pioneer name in low cost air travel, Deccan has landed and has paved way for a new brand ‘Kingfisher Red’.

The brand ‘Simplifly Deccan’ and its blue colour logo of two palms joining together forming a flying a bird would be changed to Kingfisher’s trademark red colour.

The flight code will also become common for both airlines from today, however the low cost structure of ‘Kingfisher Red’ would remain same.

Another thing to note is on going to website of erstwhile Deccan, www.airdeccan.net you will be redirected to www.flykingfisher.com

It is also expected that a legal merher will take place soon which will make Kingfisher Airlines a listed entity.

I wonder how i missed this in yesterday’s new paper or its a news which didnt made headlines? Though some market report said that Vijay Maliya is not happy even with Kingfisher Airline’s business. Well, Lets see what to come next? for domestic I still prefer Indian Airlines.

Its confirmed now and everyone is being redirected to kingfisher website, Captain Gopinath is the only person who is very sad about this deal because he lost all his dreams which he set for India.
