Jason Morrison, who is a Search Quality Strategist at Google, needs your help in picking a name for his baby who is due next month.
The couple has set up an online poll (of course, using Google Docs) where you can either pick a name from the existing list or suggest something completely new.
"We’re expecting a baby November 16th, and we need help choosing a name. This is a difficult decision that will have a huge impact on the life of an innocent human being. Naturally, we are turning to random Internet strangers for help."
At this point "Dylan" is leading the boys chart, and "Olivia" and "Ada" are leading the girls. The couple also says that they reserve the right to ignore the results of the poll completely, as they don’t want their baby named "Splashy Pants". Thanks CNET.

so, we could expect to have a baby-names database from Google very soon.

I bet the baby will be so proud of their smart parents, who weren’t even able to find a name and had to ask on the internet for suggestions. So stupid, really.
