Gifts for Geeks: Cushions Embroidered with DOS Directories

dos cushions DOS Pillows

If you enjoyed reading these DOS tricks, you’ll probably also enjoy looking at these DOS pillows from the same company that makes the Optimus Maximus keyboard.

Called Dosugus, these cushions aren’t a simple print of the DOS screen - the directories are actually embroidered on cloth. Not sure anyone would buy them at $36 a piece but interesting nevertheless. Thanks geeksugar.

36 dollar is way to much for this.

First off let me say thank you for sharing this, as it did tickle my fancy to see this.

As a DOS jockey myself back in the day, I did find myself amused by the thought of a DOS directory embroidered on a pillow. I just wouldn’t be caught dead with on in my possession, no mater how nostalgic I feel. It would have been cooler to have a print out framed with the perforated feeder edged still attached.

I’m not knocking anyone who would buy this, but I would like to meet anyone who would make this purchase as they are probably a very… interesting… individual. And that’s a compliment.
