The Samsung 850 series HDTV includes a new Infolink RSS Access feature that lets you read RSS feeds on the television screen while you continue to watch your favorite movies.
RSS Feed Alerts on TV Screen
The Infolink RSS service pulls and displays live RSS feeds when users connect to the Internet via the integrated Ethernet port.
And if you are in the US, just plug in your zip code and current information like local weather forecasts, outside temperature, stock prices, etc. will be displayed on your screen again via RSS feeds. Thanks RSS Weblog.

I can understand having a feed to read weather and stock quotes as a ticker or for podcasts on TV, but blog posts and news article? Dunno. I haven’t used an HDTV, but somehow reading frm a TV doesn’t sound like an attractive proposal.

That looks pretty cool! It would be a real-life thing if they can make it a bit more transparent or allow the couch-potato to adjust the transparency.
