Amit, Thanks for keeping the contest short. Some websites made me roam around their 2 year old archives for stuffs that I had no interest in reading.

wow……great competition….if I win, do you deliver stuffs out here to Nepal
Written by Roshan Bhattarai on 12.14.08
I noticed that all of the other sites running this giveaway are treating the prizes as one package, not splitting them up. I believe one of them (I’ll have to look up exactly which one) mentioned that that was a requirement by HP to treat them as a package to promote the giving spirit, having the winner give them away. Many people have told stories of worthy organizations that would benefit from the new items, and if everyone were to win one part of the prize, they would be less likely to give it up.
While I think it’s great that this site is offering more people a chance to win, the splitting of the package would decrease the likelihood that people would go through with their plans of donating to charities/schools/churches/etc. Of course, we are assuming that they will all go though with what they wrote, which we would have no way of knowing, but let’s give everyone the benefit of the doubt.

I found this simply great. Short, sweet, to the point! It ultimately aims at serving the end-user as any improvement in the site is only going to help the readers.
Amit, please post some of the good improvement suggestions so that we can try to implement that on our sites too.
Thanks

I like your website, it has excellent links, I subscribed, it looks like there are many ways to do so but I chose email, I have no idea how to use twitter as I’ve never twitted, maybe someday I’ll learn how. There are a number of articles here that I’m interested in reading so thanks for a great site and happy holidays.

Dear Amit,
That is a bright idea and I am sure you will get the inputs from many computer savy persons who are digitally inspired by your very useful short listings. I am not looking for the prize, but I am a person who has found your recommendations very useful. To be very frank, I am not an IT person, but a top bureaaucrat with the Govt. I have been using the computer in my work for over 15 years and my present job does not provide much time for browsing for information and useful tips. Your list therefore has helped me to make use of many ideas products and services.
Since I am basically a scientist bureaucrat, I would like to see your tips inthe form of a graphical display in a classified manner, perhaps with an archieve. The classification could be in the diverse areas you are covering, say, new gadgets, new software, new sites with interesting tips, a window for question answers, applications for dummies etc to make your efforts reach more and more people. If i want to refer back to some of your recommendations, I should be able to access them at a later date. Thanks for your attention. link
