Exchange your old Laptop or TV for a new Apple iMac
"Beautiful but expensive" - that’s how most people like to describe Apple products here in India.
Now to lure this set of cost-conscious consumers (and also vanish some Windows computers), Apple India has come up with a exchange offer where you can walk into any of the Apple retail stores with your old Windows PC (or laptop or TV) and get Rs. 6,000 ($120) off on the purchase of a new iMac.
The basic model of an iMac costs around Rs 56,000 in India. Other than this exchange offer, faculty members and college students can buy MacBook Laptops at a discount of around 12%.
This iMac offer is valid until December 27, 2008.

Is the Students offer still valid? I brought a laptop recently can I still claim the students offer?

Is Apple really that desperate to sell in India? I prefer the old iMacs anyway. The black Apple logo is really ugly to me.
