This $200 PC is not an official Google product but close – it comes pre-installed with desktop icons that link to the websites of Google Docs, Gmail, Blogger, Google Maps, and YouTube (see ).

Sounds a bit surprising but NYT also says that “gOS Linux is specially made to run Google applications like GMail and Google Documents”. And this Google friendly computer is called “gPC” and runs on “gOS”, a variant of Ubuntu Linux, but the “g” here stands for “Green” and not “Google.”
