Is it time replace the dead laptop battery ?
Watch this short video as it explains how to manually replaces the cells inside the laptop computer without having to buy a new replacement Li-Ion battery from the laptop manufacturer.
Even if you have no plans to follow their advice, the video is still worth a watch as you get to know how stuff is arranged inside your notebook battery.

The link I’ve post is for teh 6 volt battery, which claims there are 32 AA batteries inside. However, I’ve not tried this myself because I discovered the following on Snopes.com: http://www.snopes.com/photos/humor/batteryhack.asp It’s the same video and claims it’s a fake hack and suggests not attempting it.
Insight, anyone? Has anyone ever tried either?
