The HCL Mileap laptops (X Series) costs around INR 14k with a 7″ LCD screen and weigh around a kg. Professional can go for the HCL Mileap tablet (Y series) that costs around INR 30k and has a swivel screen.
To reduce the overall cost, these HCL laptops have an Intel Celeron processor and are pre-loaded with Linux / Free DOS instead of regular XP or that latest Windows Vista OS.
